Ergonomics

The development of specialized Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) operating rooms (ORs) has increased operating room turn-over efficiency. However, little is known about optimal OR layout design strategies to improve intra-operative efficiency and safety. Ergonomics of operating room is increasingly an interesting area of research.
